Kabul Seattle CS Engages with State Officials in Community Town Hall Meeting

Members of Kabul Seattle Community Services (formerly KWA) participated in a Community Town Hall meeting attended by two senators and one representative from Washington State. The discussion focused on topics such as periodic reports from previous sessions of the House of Representatives and the Washington State Senate. The senators and representative also provided updates on laws passed during recent legislative sessions.

During the meeting, the speakers addressed questions from attendees, including members of Kabul Seattle Community Services, who took the opportunity to highlight the concerns of the Afghan community. One key question raised by the organization was about specific laws passed by the House of Representatives and the Senate to support the Afghan community in previous legislative sessions.

Kabul Seattle Community Services has always strived to be the voice of the Afghan community, working tirelessly to secure better services and facilities in Washington State. The organization remains committed to being a vital bridge of communication between the community and the government, ensuring their needs and concerns are heard and addressed.
