In a beautiful celebration of Afghan culture in Washington State, Kabul Seattle Community Services (formerly Kabul Washington Association) hosted the first-ever poetry event in the region, lovingly named "Aawaye Bahar" or "Arrival of Spring."

Afghan community members came together to revel in the richness of their heritage. With violins playing softly in the background, poets graced the stage, sharing heartfelt verses that painted vivid images of love, hope, and resilience. Laughter and applause echoed through the room as stories unfolded and connections were deepened.

As "Aawaye Bahar" came to a close, the warm gratitude expressed by attendees reminded everyone of the profound beauty in gathering as a community to celebrate shared traditions and culture.
