The KAWA Volleyball Tournament took place in Seattle, Washington, on January 14, with eight teams from across the state participating. The primary goal was to bring together young people, particularly from the Afghan community in Seattle, in a friendly and relaxed environment. Over 250 people attended to cheer on the teams.
Kabul Seattle Community Services (formerly Kabul Washington Association) organized the tournament to create a fun and memorable experience for all involved. The teams competed in several rounds, and in the end, Team Etihad emerged as the winners, proudly receiving the KAWA Trophy.
The tournament was more than just a competition; it was an opportunity for individuals to unite, share moments of joy, and celebrate diversity. The laughter and cheers from the event will be fondly remembered by everyone who participated.
